Collections is a remote payment solution that provides users with collection codes that are unique identifiers to their business.

Service Providers are merchants can charge account holders by using a debit operation. The debit requests result in the account being asked for approval. Once the request is approved, the debited amount is transferred from the account holder to the Service Provider or merchants account. The partner is able to liquidate the collected funds into their respective bank accounts.

The service offers convenience of collection for online payments,bills,loan repayments, contribution to activities and instalments to mutually agreed upon repayments of services and products. Examples of partners will bill collections are Umeme, National Water, URA, NSSF, DSTV to name but a few.

Disbursements is a remote payment solution for businesses that require sending money to remote recipients like employees, field resource, beneficiaries in all sectors. This set up enables the partner to automate the Bulk Payments and disbursements can be triggered as and when needed. This service offers the name verification and multiple approval principle.

MoMo account holders can transfer funds to other account holders if they have the same currency. An account holder can transfer money from their e-money account to another account holder e-money account.

Example of partners that use their service are salaried enterprises, field resourced companies, refugee beneficiaries and the efforts to digitize the agricultural sector.

Remittance product enables a partner to seamlesssly remit funds from the diaspora to local recepients.

When remitting money is transferred from Partners wallet to Local recepients wallet in MoMo. Currency conversion is handled by the partner.

This service is both Inbound and Outbound.

Outbound: Now available in the regions of Tanzania,Kenya and Rwanda to facilitate regional Inter-trade.
Inbound facilitates money transfer from the diaspora straight to the local recepients MTN Mobile wallet in Uganda.
Partners for this service includes WorldRemit, MFS Africa, WesternUnion, Sentegram and Kendy Money Transfer.
